Train Station questions
How far is the station with luggage?
About 100 m from Perugia Fontivegge (station name PERUGIA). Walkable. Do not get off at Perugia Ponte San Giovanni — that is a different station.
How do I reach the historic center?
Minimetrò toward Pincetto, city bus or taxi. It is not a flat stroll. Train Station is for arriving; Downtown is for staying in the center all day.
Is it a tourist area?
No. Station / Fontivegge: services, links, residential buildings. The historic center is about 2 km away and reachable by minimetrò (a small elevated city metro that links the station to the center). If you want medieval alleys at the door, book Downtown.
What is in the suite?
Living room, double bedroom, bathroom and two park balconies. Washer, bed linen and towels. Not a hotel with breakfast.
Is one night worth it?
Yes if you arrive late by train or leave early: it is a practical base by the station. For a walking weekend in the center, consider Downtown. We confirm the total on your dates.
Will I hear trains?
No. There is no train noise: the location is very strategic and the building faces so that you neither see the tracks nor hear any sound from the station. From the seventh floor you enjoy a beautiful outlook over the park and the hills in the distance.
How many people is it suited for?
Ideal for 2 guests. Up to 3–4 is available with a small supplement.
Parking?
Yes. There is a large car park at the foot of the building on Via del Macello, or on nearby side streets (Via Bellocchio, Via Simpatica and similar): paid hourly from 9:00 to 19:00; free after 19:00 and on all weekends and public holidays.
Check-in?
Almost all check-ins are in person. Remote self-check-in is exceptional, for arrivals outside check-in hours, and must be requested in the notes. De visu verification (TULPS) and guest registration remain mandatory: in that case codes are handed over only after an on-site video call, with a valid ID.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 14:00 to 19:00. Check-out is by 10:00. Different times can be agreed in advance in the request.
Pets? Is this the panoramic terrace in the center?
Pets are not allowed, nor smoking or parties. Two park-facing balconies — not Downtown’s terrace toward Palazzo Gallenga. Two different homes.
